Account Fees

Be sure to take advantage of ways you can avoid the Monthly Service Fee, such as setting up Autosave.

$0 when you have any ONE of the following:

  • A balance at the beginning of each day of $300 or more in this account
  • OR, $25 or more in total Autosave or other repeating automatic transfers from your personal Chase checking account (available only through chase.com or Chase Mobile® app)
  • OR, Chase College Checking℠ account linked to this account for Overdraft Protection
  • OR, an account owner who is an individual younger than 18
  • OR, a linked Chase Premier Plus Checking℠, Chase Sapphire℠ Checking, or Chase Private Client Checking℠ account

OR

$5 if none of these options are met

Helpful tip: You can avoid Surcharge Fees by using a Chase ATM.

  • $3 per withdrawal at a non-Chase ATM in the U.S. and the U.S. territories

  • Surcharge Fees from the ATM owner/network still apply. A Foreign Exchange Rate Adjustment Fee from Chase may apply for ATM withdrawals in a currency other than U.S. dollars. U.S. territories include American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands
  • $5 per withdrawal at a non-Chase ATM outside the U.S. and the U.S. territories

Helpful tip: You may be able to set up a bank-to-bank transfer to avoid these fees.

$15 per transfer or $0 if the transfer was originally sent with the help of a Chase banker or using chase.com or Chase Mobile® app

  • $35 per transfer if a banker helps you send the wire
  • $25 per transfer if you use chase.com or Chase Mobile® app to send the wire
  • $0 per transfer if your Chase SavingsSM account is linked to a Chase Private Client CheckingSM account

 

  • $50 per transfer if a banker helps you send the wire in U.S. dollars or foreign currency
  • $40 per transfer if you use chase.com or Chase Mobile® app to send the wire in U.S. dollars
  • $5 per transfer if you use chase.com or Chase Mobile® app to send the wire in foreign currency
  • $0 per transfer if you use chase.com or Chase Mobile® app to send the wire in foreign currency AND the amount is equal to $5,000 USD or more

A money order is a check issued by you, purchased at a branch, for an amount up to $1,000.
